Luna Hotel Da Oura Albufeira, Albufeira

My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The room was very spacious and clean, although the bathroom could use some updating. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my week-long stay. The location was convenient, close to restaurants and activities, though you may need transport for the beach. The dining options were good, with a variety of fresh fruits, but the breakfast could improve. The hotel facilities were well-kept and enjoyable.

The hotel is conveniently located, just across the road from a supermarket and a short walk from mini-golf and an escape room. The rooms are old and could use some maintenance, but they do have balconies with sea views. The service was a bit unsettling with staff hovering around and staring, although one staff member went above and beyond. The location is ideal for easy access to both the strip and the Old Town, but could benefit from some modernization. The dining experience was rated as excellent, especially for the resort, with freshly prepared options available. On the downside, more modernizing is needed, and the pool area was described as being in a tight space.

The hotel rooms overlooked a roof and metal fence, and despite requesting, towels were only changed after begging. On the bright side, the location was a massive bonus, offering great tranquility for a good night's sleep and easy access to sunbeds. The service could do with improvement, especially when it came to taking cash for transfers, but the pub staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The dining experience varied from horrible and expensive breakfast to pleasant but pricey meals. The facilities were satisfactory, with a mix of positive and negative aspects overall.
